Know where things stand
An application, an offer, and an accepted place are different steps. We keep those stages visible so families can understand the next action.
DAP is a school admissions portal that connects a family’s application journey with a school’s review process, from learner details to an accepted place.
Why we’re building DAPChoosing the next step in a child’s education is a significant moment. The application process should help families understand what to do, what they have submitted, and where things stand.
DAP brings learner records, applications, school reviews, and offers into a connected process. Families can follow each child’s progress, while school staff work with the submissions relevant to their institution.
Our aim is to make that process easier to navigate across early childhood, primary, and secondary school admissions, while keeping the learner at the centre.
Practical choices that shape how DAP works.
An application, an offer, and an accepted place are different steps. We keep those stages visible so families can understand the next action.
One account can support several children, but each learner’s details and admission journey remain separate. Missing documents are recorded for review.
Submission history, school decisions, and offer responses belong to the application. Recorded actions help preserve the context of each outcome.
DAP supports the application process. Schools remain responsible for reviewing applications and making admissions decisions according to their requirements and available places.
Using DAP does not guarantee admission or mean every school has an intake on the portal.
School applications contain personal information. DAP uses account permissions to limit who can act for a learner and which school submissions staff can access.
Uploaded files are encrypted in storage and must pass a safety scan before download. Downloads require an access check, and school access is tied to documents shared with that school’s submission.
Families should keep their sign-in details private, review the information they submit, and sign out when using a shared device.
